Mary Wollstonecraft
William Godwin Senior

William Godwin is Mary's Father. During the period between Mary and Percy's elopement and their marriage, William refuses contact with Mary of any kind. After this two year period ends, he resumes his relationship with Mary.

Mary Wollstonecraft is Mary Shelley's mother, who dies ten days after giving birth to her daughter. She was a celebrated feminist and author who touched the lives of many before hers was cut short.

Claire Clairmont is Mary's step-sister, and  runs away with Percy and Mary when they elope, to tour the countryside of France. She would become the mistress of Lord Byron.

This famous poet is the husband of Mary Shelley and father of their four children. He died tragically in a boating accident not long after the birth of their fourth child. He had a wife and children before Mary, but eloped with Mary due to their passionate love for one another.
